4060 East Fourth Street: flowers, dots, and Pogonip
I saw this cheery box September 30th as I tried to detour around a traffic problem on Alvernon. It has white flowers and dots with a flowery flag:
After I looked at the photos on my computer screen, I noticed that the flag has © 1994 Pogonip Inc. at the bottom. A search for the name took me to results listing a Tucson company that used to have the interesting web address MailboxFlags.com. Unfortunately, I couldn't find the website or almost anything about the company.
(By the way, this is one of the Tucson neighborhoods with streets going every-which-way that I guess someone had fun planning. I should learn to check a map before I drive! Here's Google's view: https://maps.app.goo.gl/a68ZgLngJm6pTqKh8.)

Mailbox outside BICAS
Artsy BICAS has murals around their new-ish location near Grant & Stone. They also have a fun mailbox:
You can see the other art in the post Murals around BICAS on The Tucson Murals Project blog.
I rolled by (in my car) on July 11, 2024.
