We've switched from mailboxes along Water Street into the Poets’ Square neighborhood. (It's also sometimes called Poets’ Corner, but the city's neighborhood map for Ward 6 shows Poets’ Square... and the boundaries are also a square!)
Here's a black box with a desert scene in a circle in middle of its three-column post.
That is very cool, thanks for sharing this! I have always been a big fan of these type of mailboxes because if you find the right one to match your house, it compliments it very well. I recently have been looking at some mailboxes for my neighborhood because it is something that I have always wanted to get but never really got the chance to.
ReplyDeleteThanks, Chase. Besides the company you linked to, other companies advertise on the blog from time to time. (Google picks them; I have no idea.) There are also some local mailbox-makers... if you see one you like, you could always write a letter to the owner (you know their address! :) and ask.
ReplyDeleteNo matter who you go with, I'd be glad to hear who you end up buying from..., and, if you'd like, take a photo and post your new 'box on the blog.
